The Central Institute of Technology on the East Perth Campus will host a panel discussion on the future of renewable energy on 30 July 2014.

The panellists will include Kirsten Rose, the Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Association of Australia; Jamie Ally, a Director of Engineering at Energy Made Clean and a director of the Fremantle Wind Farm Cooperative; and Cameron Power, the chair of Sustainable Energy Now.

The panel discussion will cover the current issues with the Renewable Energy Target, what can be expected from the energy policy in the near future; and how communities and individuals can make sure they opt for clean energy.

The renewable energy meeting is open to all and entry is free.
