The Australian Regional Development Conference (ARDC) will be hosting the 2014 Innovation Awards in October this year. Nominations are currently open to individuals and organisations for the various award categories.

The 2014 Innovation Awards seek to recognise and showcase individuals and organisations for their achievements in the following four categories: Economic Development Award, sponsored by The Regional Development Company; Planning and Building Award; Environment and Sustainability Award; and Community Development Award, sponsored by Charles Sturt University.

The 2014 Innovation Awards judging panel includes Ms Susan Benedyka - Founder, Managing Director, The Regional Development Company Pty Ltd (RDC); Mr Cameron Little - Lecturer, University of New South Wales; and Mr Tony McBurney - Director, Integrated Design Group.

Who can apply?

Representatives from all organisations active in regional development across Australia, including councils, shires, rural and regional organisations, NGOs and government agencies that aim to better serve their communities.

Presentation

The Innovation Awards will be held in conjunction with the Australian Regional Development Conference Dinner on October 15th at the Commercial Club, Albury. Winners will be profiled by media partners and on the conference website and social media.

Award nominations close on Tuesday 15th July 2014.
