Austmine Mining Mission is organising a mission to Kazakhstan for the Australian mining equipment, technology and services (METS) sector in September this year.

The Kazakhstan mission will provide Australian METS suppliers five days of unique business and networking opportunities; site visits and meetings with leading Kazakh mining companies; and participation as an exhibitor at Mining World Central Asia 2014.

Being organised from 15 September 2014 to 19 September 2014, this mission is expected to offer Australian METS suppliers an opportunity to gain first-hand experience and test the mineral resources potential of this rapidly growing region.

The Republic of Kazakhstan possesses world-class deposits of minerals and raw materials. Kazakhstan’s resource potential for exploration companies and the numerous gaps within the equipment and services value chain will be of particular interest to participating METS companies.

Austmine has been leading successful missions to Kazakhstan since 2010. The agenda this year includes site visits and meetings with Kazakhmys, ENRC, Tau-Ken Samruk and Kazatoprom in Almaty and in Astana.

With the Australian Pavilion in 2014 covering some 80m² located in the international hall at Mining World Central Asia, the mission expects to attract the largest contingent of Australia's leading mining technology suppliers and services providers.

Packages are available for Austmine members only and include access to all meetings, all Austmine support services detailed below, and member’s choice of three exhibitor stand options.
