The Institute of Digital Design Australia (IDDA) has launched an exciting new contemporary online learning experience for architects, engineers and designers.

Available on IDDA.com.au, customised training is provided for course participants in design software, digital design techniques and software integration.

IDDA CEO and Founder Ben Coorey says the online initiative aims to build design intelligence worldwide. The affordable online learning segment came to fruition as a result of the high demand for IDDA’s customised instructor-led training.

Given the rapidly evolving pace of the industry, it is becoming more difficult for designers to keep up with the vast array of software and new design techniques. IDDA’s online training platform incorporates easy to follow skills and techniques to meet the individual requirements and pace of each learner.

An IDDA membership allows direct access to industry expert trainers and online learning at any time, with all lessons being tailored to continually build the learner’s skill levels. Courses are categorised into essentials, designer, advanced and master series with personal tracking and certification to be achieved at each level.

In addition, IDDA’s HD streaming videos and step-by-step instructions make software such as Rhino and Grasshopper easy to follow. The training portal can be accessed from any device with an internet connection. Course participants can also utilise IDDA’s member forums and ongoing online seminars to share knowledge, skills and techniques, allowing them to stay connected with the latest tips and tricks from experts around the world.
