Glascott Landscape & Civil was engaged by QM Properties to deliver the hard and soft landscaping at an upcoming residential development located about 45 minutes from Brisbane CBD.

Jimboomba Woods Estate is set on 1,200 acres of former cattle grazing land and is one of the largest residential developments in the area with 550 lots, each measuring 1-5 acres to provide substantial space for residents to build their new homes.

Specialising in the delivery of all types of large-scale projects from residential to infrastructure, parks and commercial works, Glascott took on the Jimboomba Woods Estate landscaping work. Stages 3a and 15 have been completed, and include a park and streetscapes with over 5,000 tubestock planted within the natural areas, 4,500m² of turf, three park shelters, a water bubbler and a BBQ. Additionally, Glascott constructed coloured, exposed, and plain concrete paths, created coloured concrete seating and over 500 bollards, and also worked on the usual planting, soiling and mulching.

Speaking about the working partnership with QM Properties, and Landscape Architects Saunders Havill Group, Mr Brett Frostick, QLD Manager of Glascott Landscape & Civil said that it was a great opportunity for the company to showcase the breadth of their expertise in large-scale development and residential work.

Glascott is currently overseeing the installation of a range of play equipment and fitness equipment at the park with shade sails to be set up at a later date.

Tony Luck, Project Landscape Designer at Saunders Havill Group, said they are very happy that Glascott has been able to develop their vision of Jimboomba Woods Estate.

Glascott will soon start on their next project with QM Properties and Saunders Havill Group.
