Painters can now develop their business even more with the new Getapainter.com
Designed to generate online leads for painting work, the website has been
custom built by painters for painters. Get-A-Painter, or GAP, captures online
job leads and refers them to registered website members. By linking buyers of
painting services such as homeowners and businesses with sellers or
professional painters and applicators, the website helps generate work for
members while meeting the needs of Do It For Me customers.
Get-A-Painter’s General Manager Chris Munday explains the benefits of
GAP and how the website is meeting the needs of its members.
According to Mr Munday, GAP is very cost-effective in comparison with traditional
advertising, since the online lead generating platform is free to join with no
obligation or lock-in contract. GAP does, however, have membership standards to
ensure delivery of high quality services and products to its customers. A
screening process vets each member to ensure GAP’s levels of professional
standards will be met.
GAP captures customer enquiry details such as lead location and nature
of project (i.e. Small, Large or Commercial). This basic information is then
sent out to registered GAP members who are accepting job leads in the nominated
The first four members to accept the lead are given the job information
along with all the customer contact details. GAP ensures it delivers a premium
service with all members agreeing to respond to customers within two hours of
accepting the given lead.
The online marketing profile and business information of the four
painters is also emailed to the prospective client along with their contact
details, enabling customers to review the background, services and skill set of
respective GAP members.
For painting businesses, GAP is an effective way to gain new jobs
without wasting money on marketing budgets and advertising that may not even guarantee
a return. GAP’s revenue model is based on billing members for jobs they accept
and quote on, delivering a far more efficient service than traditional advertising
platforms. Members are charged on a points-based system depending on the size
of the job and the nature of the lead. GAP understands the needs of local
painters, ensuring members get to pick the location and timing of the lead.
Mr Munday adds that members will also receive rewards via their site
sponsors including incentives such as bonus points and rebates.
Register as a new member with Get-A-Painter before the end of February
and get 100 bonus points, equivalent to two free leads.
