Clifford Constructions has been awarded a high profile project at the Sydney Harbour National Park to upgrade the Gap Bluff Walking Track as part of the Gap Master Plan.

One of the greatest tourist attractions in the area, the Gap Bluff Track at South Head in Sydney Harbour National Park draws thousands of international visitors as well as Sydney-siders who come to admire the spectacular views from the lookouts and the track, which runs 400 metres along the ‘Gap Bluff’ cliff line.

Clifford Constructions successfully tendered for the $750K upgrade of the Gap Bluff Walking Track with the contract encompassing realignment of the track, installation of a new balustrade and sections of fencing as well as the installation of curved vertical blade balustrades at key viewing areas to allow for maximum visual transparency.

Mark Withford, Senior Assets Officer at the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service explained that Clifford Constructions’ experience in this sector and client references put their tender above all others.

Clifford Constructions looks forward to working on this project with National Parks to ensure that visitors can continue to come and safely enjoy Sydney’s magnificent coastal views from Gap Bluff.
