A Brisbane-based design agency opened last year, banking on the revival of the wallpaper trend — and it looks like it has worked out.

IMGS Wallcoverings specialises in custom wallpaper that they design and print in-house. The company says it is already making an incredible imprint in the local, national and international markets.

Richard Capp, director of IMGS, says that since opening their doors six months ago, business has grown steadily.

“Our focus is on working directly with architects and interior designers to help them bring their vision to life and the response so far has been overwhelming,” he said.

“Through them, we’re working on a project for a national retail chain and we’re about to complete a large ballroom at one of Australia’s most well known hotels.

IMGS specialises in complete custom wallcoverings. Using a logo, image, design or an idea, they design and print wallpaper to required size specifications.

“The retail store simply needed their logo repeated, the ballroom is using custom feature strips and we’ve created murals that feature one large image across the length of an office wall,” Capp said.

IMGS uses only environmentally friendly wallcoverings, utilizing PVC free papers and solvent free inks. All wallpaper is scratch resistant making it child, customer and office friendly.
