Glen Dimplex Australia has introduced remote control temperature and timing technology to its range of gas fires and is the first to equip its gas fires with electronic control system (ECS) technology which enables fully programmable room temperature control through a radio frequency thermostat over a seven day period, or the easy to use remote can simply turn the fire on and off.
The auto mode enables consumers to return to a cozy home after work, or alternatively, the manual function allows them to adjust the temperature when they are relaxing in front of the fire.
In addition, Masport Heating has brought three new gas fire models to market for 2005. The Roma is a ‘zone’ type fire, suitable for installation in small spaces such as bedrooms and bathrooms. Its flue system can be installed 6m horizontally and is small and flexible enough to be installed in almost any space, making it capable of unusual venting arrangements no other fire system can match.
The Hampton features Timberline brown porcelain enamel castings in a traditional design while a powerful gas fire that delivers warmth where and when it is wanted. It has a high heat efficiency system accompanied by a three-speed circulation fan.
Also new for 2005 is the Masport Heating Surefire, designed to match the demand for feature fires that satisfy the need for more environmentally friendly heating systems. The Surefire has a slimmer design than any other decorative fire on the market, and features an attractive flame pattern.
