International multi-disciplinary design practice HBO+EMTB announces the appointment of Andrew Brophy to the position of Principal Urban and Landscape at the firm’s Sydney studio.
HBO+EMTB managing director Kevin Fitzgerald explains that Brophy’s diverse background in public domain, park and open space design, master planning and infrastructure projects will complement the skills of their award-winning Sydney-based Urban and Landscape design unit.
Brophy has over 20 years of experience in the design sector and joins HBO+EMTB from Urban Initiatives in Melbourne. He has led multi-disciplinary design teams on schemes of varying scale and complexity across a range of project types, and has extensive experience in the local government arena.
Fitzgerald adds that Brophy’s practical experience coupled with his conceptual rigour and design aesthetic will be a great addition to their Sydney team.
