Hayball has appointed Bianca Hung as a director, while Thomas Gilbert and Graham Legerton have been appointed principals of the multi-disciplinary design practice.

Hung and Gilbert are former senior associates, and have both been promoted for their delivering of innovative projects and for their leadership skills, according to a statement from the firm.

Legerton, who is the new principal for education and is based in the firm's Brisbane studio, is a specialist in education design.

"I’m very proud of how we continue to renew by supporting staff to move into leadership roles – they are passionate designers whose broader contribution to the practice is their spirit of collaboration and engagement with the business of our clients," says Hayball managing director Tom Jordan.

Jordan says the suite of appointments reflects “Hayball's national growth and diversification across the interior design and student accommodation sectors”.
