International golf champion and entrepreneur, Greg Norman will design two premium golf courses at the master-planned housing estate promoted by Sekisui House Australia.

Residential property developer Sekisui House Australia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Greg Norman for the design and construction of the golf courses at The Hermitage in Gledswood Hills, south west Sydney.

In collaboration with Sekisui House and club operator, Wests Campbelltown, Greg Norman Golf Course Design will be involved in the redevelopment of Wests Campbelltown’s existing 18-hole Camden Lakeside Golf Course from concept to construction in addition to a brand new 9-hole course within the 300-hectare estate.

This will be the only golf course in metropolitan Sydney to be designed and constructed under the Greg Norman brand.

Commenting on the partnership with Sekisui House, Greg Norman said that the project offered a compelling design opportunity as his design principle has always centred on enhancing the natural surroundings of a site. He adds that partnering with a company like Sekisui House, which shares a similar passion for environmental stewardship, is a privilege.

First established in 1987, Greg Norman Golf Course Design is today recognised as one of the premier signature golf course design firms in the world.

Sekisui House has sold over 600 properties since launching The Hermitage master-planned community in 2012. In just over three years, The Hermitage has become south west Sydney’s leading and most recognised master planned community. The Hermitage estate will ultimately be home to around 6,000 residents.
