The Participants Annual Forum of the CRC for Low Carbon Living (CRCLCL) is organising a special event in Sydney to discuss actions being taken by Australia to reduce carbon emissions in the built environment.

Being held in the run-up to COP21 in Paris, the two-day event on 26-27 November, 2015 at the Australian National Maritime Museum Sydney, provides a unique opportunity to interact with experts from Australia and overseas.

To be hosted by ABC Science Journalist and Broadcaster Robyn Williams AM on day one and Josh Byrne of ABC's Gardening Australia and Josh Byrne & Associates on day two, the event will feature keynote talks plus panel and interactive sessions with government, industry and research speakers.

Keynote speakers include: The Hon Ian Hunter MLC, South Australian Minister for Sustainability, Environment and Conservation, Minister for Water and the River Murray, and Minister for Climate Change; Michael Daddo, behaviour change specialist from The Shannon Company; and Professor Nicole Woolsey Biggart, Research Professor and Dean Emerita of Management, University of California Davis as the international guest speaker.

The program will also include: Local Government Panel: 'A local vision for carbon neutrality'; Industry Innovation Panel: 'Enhancing collaborative research'; and a 'Speed Date a Researcher' session giving researchers, government and industry attendees the opportunity to connect and identify opportunities for collaboration.
