Reservations for seats at Designbuild’s three day Industry Insights seminar series are filling quickly in its first year as a free-to-attend program.

Held at the Melbourne Convention on 2 – 4 April, the series will host 16 seminar sessions of which some are nearing capacity.

Exhibition Manager, Ali Mead believes that partnering with the Australian Institute of Architects to curate days one and three, brought together a diverse and relevant CPD accredited seminar series.

“We’ve also introduced Sustainability Day on Thursday 3 April, focused around sessions that update visitors on regulations around building and construction sustainable commercial and residential spaces. An in depth case study will also be presented, delivering practical insights on the subject.

“We’re absolutely thrilled that the session topics are appealing to the industry with really strong registrations. I can’t wait to hear the feedback from visitors.” she said.

Mead outlined the most popular sessions including:

  • The ABCB of Sustainability - Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB); 12:30pm Thursday, 3 April
  • The Future of Sustainability - Association of Building Sustainability Assessors (ABSA); 11:15am Thursday, 3 April
  • Reach for the Stars -  Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV); 1:45pm Thursday, 3 April
  • Beyond Compliance – Using Computer Modelling to Deliver Better Performing Houses - Bondor; 1:00pm Wednesday 2 April
