Entries have opened for the 2015 Victorian Architecture Awards, once again bringing Victoria’s best architectural designs into the spotlight.

The 2015 Victorian Architecture Awards will recognise some of the best architectural work of the year across 13 categories. This year’s program will introduce a new ‘Educational Architecture’ category, which will be separate from the Public Architecture category, and have its own Named Award, Architecture Awards and Commendations.

Entries close on Friday 20th February, 2015. Expressions of Interest for Jury positions are also open from 1 December 2014 to 30 January 2015.

The entries will be presented to the jury on 28 March 2015 at the Monash University Caulfield Campus, Faculty of Art Design & Architecture. The shortlisted entries will be announced in early May and exhibited from 26 May to 7 June 2015 in the Atrium at Federation Square.

The 2015 Presentation Dinner will be held on Friday 26th June, 2015 at Peninsula at Central Pier, Docklands.

Award categories in the Victorian Architecture Awards include Commercial Architecture; Heritage Architecture; Interior Architecture; Public Architecture; Educational Architecture; Residential Architecture – Houses (New); Residential Architecture – Houses (Alterations & Additions); Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing; Small Project Architecture; Sustainable Architecture; Urban Design; COLORBOND Award for Steel Architecture; and Enduring Architecture.
