DesignBUILD has announced that an additional show floor featuring a collective of authentic, design-led products and manufacturers will be included in its 2015 event in Sydney, which runs from April 28 to April 30 at the Sydney Showground.

Targeted at expanding offerings for the Australian architecture, construction and design community, DesignBUILD Interiors will include free seminars, workshops and keynotes that will help build business connections and inspire innovative interior fit-outs.

Online architecture and design community Houzz Australia, which launched in Australia last August, will be one of the exhibitors at DesignBUILD Interiors.

“We’re really excited to be a part of the first ever DesignBUILD Interiors as it offers our Houzz community of 15,000 architects, builders, interior designers and landscapers a platform to freely market their services and connect with potential clients and other industry professionals,” said Jason Chuck, Houzz Australia Managing Director.

In a press statement, DesignBUILD Event Manager Ali Mead said the introduction of the new offering would further establish DesignBUILD as the key trade event for the industry:

“Through the addition of DesignBUILD Interiors, we have created the only dedicated trade event to connect professionals across all stages construction and design, from the initial project concept stages to interior fit out, and provide inspiration for their next projects."

The main show floor at DesignBUILD will host more than 200 exhibitors. To register or for details on how to become an exhibitor, visit www.designbuildexpo.com.au
