The Design Institute of Australia (DIA) are calling designers of all disciplines to respond to a nationwide Fee and Salary Survey.
Established in 1998, the survey provides an insight into the fees that Australian designers charge and the salaries they receive. The survey – which allows respondents to reply as individuals or as employers – is completely anonymous and only takes around 15 minutes to complete.
Once the survey closes on 15 January 2018, the results will be analysed and compiled into a detailed report that provides fees and salaries in different design disciplines for individuals and companies. It will also compare current industry trends with those from previous years.
The results and the accompanying report will be provided to full DIA members free of charge. Results will be released during Melbourne Design Week commencing 15 March.
