Brisbane-based bureau^proberts has combined with ML Design, also a multidisciplinary design studio, in order to tap into a number of design opportunities it says are currently opening up places like Malaysia, the Middle-East, as well as also here in Australia.
According to bureau^proberts managing director Liam Proberts, “ML Design has been looking to join another firm and I’m pleased they’ve chosen bureau^proberts.”
Known for commercial, residential and educational institution design from Egypt to Queensland, including for projects as diverse as the QUT Chancellery and Cairo’s iconic Damac Sales Centre, bureau^proberts has collaborated with ML Design over a number of years, giving it valuable first-hand experience with their work and their pool of designers.
For its part, ML Design has a similar history, and has developed a reputation for creative architecture and urban design spaces throughout Australia, Asia and the Middle East for more than 30 years, according to its website.
“By adding to our talent pool, we’re now able to increase capacity to better deliver on our architecture and urban design services - the same territory ML Design had pioneered,” Proberts says.
