DuPont has released 12 new colours in the Corian range, distributed by CASF in Australia. The colours include White Jasmine, Rice Paper, Canvas, Dove, Green Tea, Whisper, Raffia, Concrete, Fawn, Serene Sage, Suede and Tranquil. They were designed to blend with the most prevalent materials used throughout the home.

Corian is a solid surface material by DuPont and is made of natural minerals and acrylic polymers. The product has the smoothness and substance associated with stone, combined with the workability of fine wood. It is non-porous and can be cut, routed, sandblasted, inlaid, moulded or thermoformed to create virtually any shape.

Corian sheets are joined together with an adhesive, giving a smooth, seamless appearance and creating the impression that an entire area — such as a long kitchen countertop — has been made from a single piece. It is stain-resistant and comes with a 10-year limited installed warranty when it is installed by a DuPont certified fabricator or installer.

The product is suitable for kitchen benchtops, sinks, splashbacks, bathroom vanity tops, wall cladding, shower walls, healthcare applications and in hotels. Using CNC technology, Corian can be carved or engraved to an exact pattern.
