With the built environment’s contribution to global greenhouse gas threatening to double by 2050, there has been an increased onus on those in the sector to make changes to counter this problem.

Internationally and across the many sectors, the joint-target since the Paris COP21 summit has been set at limiting global warming to 2 degrees Celsius and the building sector is considered to be one of the best positioned industries to aid that goal.

Green Building Day 2016 will bring together some of Australia’s leading sustainability thinkers to discuss cost-effective and economically beneficial paths for reducing such emissions in the building industry.

It will be held on four separate days in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth and promises to grant attendees with the tools to make practical changes in their daily work that will contribute to a more sustainable future.
