Alessandro Isola has presented a design for a new compact, cylindrical bathroom vanity with swivelling draws.
Titled ‘Orbit Sink’, the sink/storage system is crafted from Corian and features four circular compartments that pivot around a central metal axis.
The top section serves as a basin, while the three rotating pieces beneath function as storage containers for essential toiletries.
A contrasting chrome towel rail and soap tray sits between the basin and storage volumes.
The central support conceals the sink’s drainage, allowing the vanity to stand independently, with a faucet attached to the ceiling or wall.
Depending on the desired aesthetic, the sink can be displayed in a clean and uniform formation or with its segments swiveled out in different positions.
