Remedy Asset Protection has announced the appointment of David Holmen to strengthen their Concrete Condition and Assessment Team.

The company has recently invested in a new range of non-destructive testing equipment. RemedyAP is one of the few inspection companies with a triple ISO certification and is also NATA accredited to ISO17020.

The company specialises in providing:

  • Field based inspections within high-risk environments along with site testing, concrete coring and laboratory analysis to provide scientific assessment of an asset’s degradation mechanisms;
  • Recommendations for concrete protection and remediation bolstered by their understanding of concrete treatments, methods of repair and strengthening;
  • Technical assessments and inspection reports following a structured procedure to provide clients with a clear understanding of their asset’s condition, repair and protection options and a time-based maintenance approach to budgeting for works.

Stuart McCurdy from PCTE says, "RemedyAP field equipment is state-of-the-art and affords them as being one of the few dedicated inspection companies with a full suite of concrete scanning and measuring devices."

Holmen brings to his new role considerable experience in concrete strengthening and repair of bridges and structures in the UK and within Australia.

Justin Rigby of Remedy Asset Protection says, "This appointment and investment in new equipment has been in response to the demand of our customers. Rapidly David has been working with clients on three sides of the Murray River and in Tasmania. We are proud of the quality of asset condition assessment we can provide.”
