Windows and doors are one of the weakest links when it comes to energy efficient buildings. With many houses still being built with single glazed windows, it lets down owners in aspects of comfort and energy efficiency. Komfortline and Komfort+ are about to make it more affordable.

Less time to manufacture

Technologically advanced window and door products can be quite costly as these are very involved to make, from the materials used to the time it takes to manufacture them. Komfortline and Komfort+ are an entry range for domestic sizes that still uses the same high-quality Australian timber and glass, and German hardware, but takes less time to manufacture while providing excellent energy ratings.

How can this be done? Instead of rebating some of the German hardware components into the timber frames as for example, in the Architectural Timber Range, part of the hardware is mounted proud. No difference in draft proofing, sound protection, or energy rating, but faster to manufacture. Double glazed, with seals and multipoint locking, and tilt & turn opening, matching construction details of most imported timber windows.

Difference between Komfortline and Komfort+

Komfort+ is a fully spray-painted option while Komfortline is primed only, ready for painting. This is a great way for builders and savvy homeowners to add value and achieve superior energy savings with paint-ready windows and doors. Energy efficient with U-values from a very low 1.5 and sound protection up to 38dB; installer training is also provided.

Achieve superior energy savings in domestic sized windows and doors, made in Australia from plantation grown Victorian Ash timber and Australian glass with patented German hardware.
