A Flex-e home lift from Direct Lifts Australia met the client’s brief for design, low space requirement, safety and operation at a home in Brighton, NSW.

The Flex-e home lift is based on the screw self-locking gear. The engine is mounted on the platform itself and rotates a threaded nut, which moves along the stationary screw to lift the platform.

The shaft features an anodised aluminium frame interconnected with the panels of the client’s choice. Multi-layered sandwich panels and laminated glass panels come as standard with this model.

A maximum of three doors may be installed on each floor with either left or right swing. The doors on the top floor stop can be designed in the form of gates. This type of construction looks aesthetic and modern while providing a clear view of the surroundings. The platform and panels may be painted in any RAL scale colour to the client’s preference. The Flex-e comes in RAL9006 (white aluminium) as the standard colour.

The Brighton client chose the Flex-e home elevator for multiple reasons including flexible design, low space requirement, high level of security, power-saving technology, flexible digital control system, smooth adjustable movement, fast and intuitive installation, durable screw drive, and a wide range of options.
