A Flex-E commercial lift was installed at the Hunter’s Hill Council in New South Wales, meeting the brief for affordability, safety and design features.

The Council sought an affordable lift that would be able to carry 3-5 passengers, and accommodate wheelchair users, seniors and people carrying heavy objects. Designed to travel up to 4 metres in height, this commercial elevator offers a wide area for people to enter and exit the lift along with safety features that are required when installing in commercial buildings.

Flex-E commercial lifts for wheelchair or limited mobility access

A commercial vertical transport system assembled using high-quality European materials and technology, Flex-E is designed for situations requiring wheelchair or limited mobility access. The Flex-E lift can be installed into an existing masonry shaft or with its own proprietary aluminium shaft, which can be constructed from multi-layer steel sandwich panels or various types of glass panels to provide a panoramic feature.

This flexible design has an ultra-low pit and headroom making it perfect for any situation.

Flex-E commercial lifts feature a simple and intuitive control panel that allows a passenger to stop and resume the movement at any time of the trip and even change the lift’s moving direction. The lifting process is performed smoothly without causing discomfort to passengers. The uniformly backlit control panel, with a comfortable handle below, contains large buttons with embossed symbols at a convenient height, allowing operation from sitting or standing positions.
