The idea of personalised mats came from a problem that one of the Warehouse of Mats staff members had in finding the ideal gift for an Italian friend’s new home.
Jokingly someone suggested “give them a mat”, and from there the idea grew into a personalised mat with “Welcome” and the family name on the mat in the Italian colours of red and green.
