Ductile iron is used with the creation of their cast iron seating as it is not brittle like grey iron, and will last for generations.
All cast iron seating is painted with zinc phosphate undercoating. Two coats of enamel paint can be added upon request from the customer.
The timber used with The Wagga Iron Foundry’s cast iron seating is Spotted Gum, Red Gum or Blackbutt, all of which are ideally suited to outdoor applications.
