The new, Pat Rafter Arena, tennis centre in Brisbane is clad in North Qld Basult. The pieces of cut flat back Basult range in size from 30mm thick (84kgs/m2) to 70mm thick (196kgs/m2).
The Basult pieces are all secured into place with cement based adhesive and 1 only 20mm size. Stoneclip with 1 fixing/clip into the substrate. This method of installation is Eco-Stoneclip and it gives the benefit of both the glue and the added safety of the Stoneclip. This method of securing the panels runs to approximately 6 clips/m2.
