Kennovations Product Design and Engineering gave new direction to the Wet’N'Wild water park in Sydney with custom signage.

The unique array of custom signage developed by Kennovations incorporates Wet’N’Wild’s main waterslide theme into the concept, design and finish.

The main entrance to the water park, which comprises of 40 slides and attractions, welcomes visitors with a prominent sign measuring approximately 7.5 metres. The final sign was preceded by at least 25 variations in design with contrasting colours and patterns conceptualised for approval.

The approved design, a bright yellow and aqua blue slippery dip mounted to a steel pole, makes for a colourful and playful directional sign that would welcome visitors to the park. The well-known Wet’N’Wild logo is the centrepiece of the attractive design and is visible from afar.

The sign is built using structural steel and playground slide components designed by Kennovations or sourced through key suppliers. Kennovations’ scope of work also included fabrication, painting and assembly to ensure the sign would meet the visual, functional and structural requirements.

Kennovations also designed, manufactured and installed seven directional signs for placement around the water park. Made from similar structural materials as the main entrance sign in addition to air ducting pipe for cosmetic purposes, the signs provide a quick reference to visitors. Ride names and safe use guides such as height restrictions are presented in an informative but fun way to match the theme of the Wet’N’Wild water park.
