John Henry Architects has won the Residential Interior Design category at the prestigious 2006 Interior Design Awards gala ceremony; along with ara Design Studio as the winner of the Residential Interior Decoration category, and Marsh Cashman Koolloos Architects, for Colour in Residential Design.

The three companies have won the awards for their outstanding design work on Research House in Melbourne; Point Piper Apartment in NSW; and MG House in NSW, respectively.

As a partnership event of the Design Institute of Australia , designEX and Artichoike, the Interior Design Awards received more than 500 registrations for this year’s awards programme making it a record breaking year. As the Interior Design Awards attracts the highest calibre of designers in Australia, winning an award in any category is an extraordinary achievement.

The jurors for this year’s 2006 Interior Design Awards also consisted of some of the industry’s leading interior design professionals.
