Anne Doyle and Michelle Barraclough from Child Friendly Solutions made quite an impression at the recent Shopfit Expo. The message emblazoned across their shirts asked visitors - "What's Distracting Your Customers?" The answer, of course, is children! Several corporate Australian retailers took notice of their innovative instore play solutions.

Myer, Cotton On, Beacon Lighting, Adairs, Westfield and Angus & Robertson have all decided to put the Child Friendly Play Panels in their stores, with the specific aim of attracting and retaining customers with children, thereby increasing sales.   Anne Doyle, director of Child Friendly solutions says, "We're in the business of making sales for retailers, turning browsers into buyers. When a store provides a safe play solution, customers stay longer and are likely to purchase more."

Bryan Findlay from Beacon Lighting says “The play panels meet our stores' needs by safely occupying kids without taking up valuable floor space. Our sales people have always identified the link between kids causing distractions and losing a sale because of it. We want our customers to have the opportunity to shop longer allowing them to make better choices."

This tops off a huge month for Child Friendly Retail Solutions. After successfully exporting to the US and UK, the local Australian market continues to grow, with stores like Forty Winks, Spotlight and Esprit Kids recognising the need to be Child Friendly.
