Boral designLAB is an extensive catalogue of building information comprising of a CAD Library of architectural details/drawings in DWG, DXF and PDF file formats for bricks, blocks, plasterboard and roof tiles; a BIM Resource consisting of several hundred drawings provided as Autodesk Revit (RVT) and PDF files for plasterboard, bricks and blocks; and Swatches in the form of JPG files of bricks colours and textures.
The Boral designLAB helps all users including architects, designers, builders and specifiers successfully deliver projects and meet budget and timing challenges head on.
Users can share building information from the new BIM library, which also includes details for Boral plasterboard, bricks and blocks. A useful search function, and ability to download files direct to the desktop are some of the features of the new Boral designLAB.
