Aveling  was established in 1996 as a Registered Training Organisation. It delivers recognised programs in risk management, frontline management competencies, induction training, leadership training and safety training.

Some of the clients of Aveling are Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Robe River Iron Associates, HIsmelt, Sandvik Group, Woodside, Transfield Worley, Phoenix Shutdown Services, Crown Relocations, AGR Matthey, Skilled Group, N & L Transport, Hazelwood Resources etc.

Aveling offers clients a wide range of services such as conducting safety audits, customising training materials and assessment tools, delivery of inductions six days a week on a public and in-company basis, development of e-learning customised inductions, delivery of fire safety training, developing safety management plans, delivering safety leadership programs, facilitation of site specific inductions, run safety excellence programs and more.

Aveling is involved in providing safety inductions. Aveling takes pride in offering safety site-entry inductions and on-line learning to Pilbara Iron. Aveling also conducts MARCSTA inductions, which include general safety measures of the mining and resource industry. MARCSTA stands for Mining and Resource Contractors Safety Training Association.

Aveling extends Blue Card "Safety Awarenes Training 51466". This is compulsory for those wanting to work on a construction site. These courses are run by competent trainers who extend practical advice.
