MASSLAM engineers from Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH) hosted a WoodSolutions webinar on designing with mass timber.
ASH’s mass timber engineers, Nathan Benbow (engineering design manager) and Daniel Watson (structural engineer) hosted the DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) webinar.
Titled ‘DfMA GLT Members and Connections Design and Detailing’, the webinar discussed the benefits of using mass timber, what makes a successful mass timber project, production capabilities (primarily CNC machining) and facilitating effective and efficient design outcomes employing DfMA principles.
The webinar presented a great opportunity to learn from experts who use DfMA and CNC technologies every day to produce new and innovative mass timber builds.
