A Queensland businessman decided to repeat the stylish external cladding installed on his hotel at his expansive architect-designed home in Brisbane.

Located in the Brisbane suburb of Hamilton, the businessman’s home was designed by Kon Panagopoulos of KP Architects with Elements Vulcan+ Hector cladding from Urbanline Architectural specified for the exterior in a patina coating finish.

The sustainable, FSC accredited exterior cladding product was earlier installed at the businessman’s latest hotel project and had proved itself against the elements of the harsh coastal environment.

The hotel and home owner not only loved the stylish look but also the low maintenance of the thermally modified timber. The cladding product’s silvery grey colouring combined with its stability and durability made it an ideal choice for both application environments.

The finish of the external feature walls complemented the home’s colour palette originating from the largely concrete and glass exterior.
