BOLON textured flooring from The Andrews Group was installed in the communal meeting areas of the new Cancer Council office in Melbourne. Part of the Botanic vinyl flooring collection, BOLON textured flooring highlighted the project’s focus on the use of alternative materials.

Designed and executed by interior architects Hot Black, the design brief sought to cater to the multi-disciplined as well as diverse workforce, bringing them together as a cohesive entity. To achieve this, the architects reconfigured all six floors of the Cancer Council building into open plan workstations, offices, meeting rooms, breakout spaces, and hospitality and rest amenities for the 400-plus employees and volunteers.

Featuring a simple and effective interior design, the office combines the organisation’s signature daffodil yellow with the sobriety of greys and blacks to create a balanced colour palette.
