Alternative substrates specialist Surface Squared announces the release of SURPLY Deck, a new structural engineered birch plywood perfect for flooring applications. SURPLY Deck features a unique surface overlay of black glass fibre that requires zero post finishing, thereby speeding up installation.

SURPLY Deck was recently installed at UGG Australia’s tanning facility in Melbourne. The pre-finished face of SURPLY Deck with its machined tongue and groove edges enhanced the speed of installation on the mezzanine floor. The engineered birch plywood flooring offers superior technical and physical properties, along with the high-wear surface overlay, providing UGG a material that will perform and last.

The pre-finished SURPLY Deck offers benefits such as no post finishing; glass fibre overlay with mechanical stability; ductile thermoplastic soft feel; chemical resistant polymer finish; sound and noise attenuation; anti-slip and high wear pattern; and impact and wear resistance.

SURPLY Deck can be used for educational and industrial floors; mezzanine and load carrying floors; childcare playroom flooring; operable walls; stage and theatre applications; and classroom walls and floors.
