Studco Building Systems has provided an advanced sound isolation system to meet the acoustic requirements of a major high-rise apartment project in Melbourne.

Located right in the heart of the city, the 69-storey Light House Tower, which will offer over 600 apartments, is adopting the newest in sound isolation technology from Studco. The project has been designed by Elenberg Fraser architects for Hengyi.

The Studco Technical Team worked closely with the builder, Brookfield Multiplex and the contractor, Express Interiors to provide suitable building solutions that met the acoustic requirements of the project.

A custom design ceiling installed throughout the multiple levels of the tower incorporates Studco’s static deflection Resilmount system. The new M30NR Resilmount is a cost-effective sound isolation system that offers simple installation and excellent performance in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.
