Signature floorcoverings help create fun, interactive learning environments at Putney childcare centre

    Signature Floors

Modular rubber flooring and carpet tiles from Signature Floors were specified for the playrooms at the Fit Kidz Childcare Centre in Putney to help develop a fun, creative and interactive learning environment.

A family operated company offering the highest quality of care and learning for children, Fit Kidz Learning Centre Putney provides excellent facilities indoors and outdoors in a purpose built centre designed to accommodate over 50 toddlers and pre-schoolers.

Recognising the importance of creating distinct learning environments for each age group, the Centre features unique playrooms with specific resources and large terrains of space to enhance learning.

The brief for the designer, Innova Design Pty Ltd was to create a fun, creative, interactive and welcoming environment for the children and their parents. The design needed to differentiate the two age group playrooms through unique colour themes and logo designs. All products used in the design needed to be durable, long-lasting in colour and child-safe.

Very importantly, the two playrooms needed to incorporate resilient and carpeted flooring to define the play and quiet areas for the children. The design involved creating feature circles and curves on the flooring in the two playrooms in fun, bright and light colours. To meet the project’s sustainability objectives, durable and recycled materials were required.

The designer specified Flexo Rubber – Textures, a modular rubber flooring range, and Intelli Tiles – Vivid carpet tiles from Signature Floors.

Signature floorcoverings enable fast lead-time, are affordably priced, and offer a wide choice of colours. Flexo rubber flooring could be water jet cut to create personalised logos.

The finished project at the Fit Kidz Learning Centre Putney has received wide appreciation from staff and clients alike.
