Several Rondo products were specified for the new $2.1 billion (USD) City of Dreams project in Macau.

Featuring a 420,000-square-foot casino, and a diverse array of accommodation consisting of the Crown Towers and the exciting music-inspired Hard Rock Hotel, the project was developed by Melco Crown Entertainment with Leighton-China State-John Holland Joint Venture serving as the managing contractor.

Project highlights include over 20 restaurants and bars, some of the world's most sought-after retail brands within The Boulevard, a unique lifestyle precinct operated by leading travel retailer DFS, and the iconic audio visual multimedia extravaganza, Dragon's Treasure, featured in a dome-shaped theatre known as The Bubble, completing the line-up.

Rondo products used for the project included QUIET STUD sound insulation system, DUO exposed grid ceiling systems, WALK-ABOUT trafficable ceiling system, and steel stud drywall framing system.

Rondo was also the site-wide supplier for drywalls throughout the project. The Rondo Malaysia team played a major role in the successful execution of the project by arranging and loading 35 containers a month, replying to dozens of technical enquiries every week and running the factory 24 hours a day to ensure they had the coils to keep the machines running.
