A proven brick inlay system from Robertson Facade Systems combined with brick facing tiles from Robertson’s Building Products helped create a stunning brick-patterned facade on the Henry Windsor apartments in Melbourne.

Located in Melbourne’s inner south-eastern suburbs, the Henry Windsor apartments are a short walk away from some of the city’s most sought after attractions such as the Chapel Street shopping strip, St Kilda’s hipster Fitzroy Street, St Kilda Beach and Albert Park. All 53 apartments across seven storeys were easily sold not long after the project’s completion.

The Henry Windsor apartment building sports a bold look with its striking angular design by Pace Developments perfectly complementing the laid back, yet trendy character of Henry Street. The building’s stunning facade is a traffic stopper with Blue Grey brick facing tiles and contrasting Black glazed tiles, both supplied by Robertson’s Building Products, producing a striking pattern closely resembling the seams of varying shades in a rock face.

Robertson’s Facade Systems’ brick inlay system was used by Euro Precast to skilfully create the stunning brick pattern for the facade in the controlled environment of their factory. This enabled the structural panels to be easily and efficiently delivered on site, ready to mount.

The contrasting colours and textures on Henry Windsor’s facade deliver a standout profile on the street, adding to the many creative architectural buildings being developed in the sought-after area.
