Robertson Facade Systems announces the addition of a new innovation to their extensive facade product range, designed to deliver a modern and dramatic look to any project.

ALUSION is a unique panel solution made of architectural stabilised aluminium foam, and produced as continual flat sheets or in 3D shapes. Developed by Cymat Technologies in Canada, ALUSION is available in a broad choice of thicknesses and dimensions, offering unlimited design and architectural applications.

Each side of the ALUSION panel looks entirely different with the choice left to the designer to either leave the surface of the panel in its solid natural form, or apply preparations to achieve endless creative cladding solutions. The finished panels can range from a solid, shimmering look to a translucent 'water froth' look.

Key features of ALUSION architectural stabilised aluminium foam panels include aesthetically stunning metallic lustre finish; lightweight panels allowing ease of handling and installation; durability with impact resistance; easy maintenance, being mould and mildew free, anti-dust and bug free; heat insulation and resistance; acoustic performance; thermal and insulation support; and environment-friendly product with up to 50% recycled content and 100% recyclability.

The highly versatile ALUSION can be used as a composite panel as well as in a wide range of applications, from exterior and interior wall cladding, road acoustical barriers, ventilation systems, flooring, signage and exhibits, to moisture barriers, lighting, ceiling tiles and showroom displays.
