Projex Group has released a new version of its Shockmat structural protection matting. Acoustic Shockmat protection mats are also manufactured from reclaimed rubber sourced from recycled car tyres which make them environmentally friendly. Their acoustic properties meet and exceed the Australia Acoustic building requirements, they have been tested by the CSIRO and also comply with both the Building Code of Australia acoustic standards and spread of flame index.

These protection mats come in 5 mm thicknesses and can be laid under tiles, stone or timber floors as well as over any membrane for membrane protection. They can be laid loose or glued down with adhesive and be used over a wide service temperature range.
