Dynalite  has recently been contracted to install automated lighting solutions for four English hotels. The work is to be undertaken at the Rockliffe Hotel in County Durham, the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool, the Bridges Wharf Hotel and the Berners Hotel in London, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2009.

Dynalite will be involved in each hotel project from the design phase through to commissioning. An automated lighting solution will be installed in each hotel that will include numerous Dynalite controllers, wall panels, touch-screens, interfaces, sensors and software.

Dynalite automated lighting systems are based around the modular DIN rail-mountable DDMC802 multipurpose controllers. These support large quantities of small loads and are ideally suited to hotel and high-density residential applications. By offering the opportunity to use load-specific modules for the dimming of luminaires, or automation of blinds, curtains or fans, waste caused by unused channels is considerably reduced.

The Rockliffe and Berners Hotel projects will also include landscaping and the installation of exterior lighting. These lighting projects will include individual room controls and user-friendly integration with third-party systems, such as audio-visual systems.
