Leading Australian supplier of luxury residential lifts, Lift Shop has introduced several new enhancements to its popular Supermec battery lifts to deliver a new level of performance and sophistication.

Featuring an efficient backup battery system, Supermec lifts will continue to operate normally in the event of a power failure.

Supermec battery lifts use single-phase 230V voltage with minimum energy consumption and reduced environmental impact.

Lift Shop’s Supermec lifts are designed and manufactured in Italy by leading platform lift manufacturer Elevatori Premontati. Every Supermec has been individually crafted for design superiority and performance excellence in every aspect from sizing, cabin doors and floors to sleek steel and glass shafts.

New enhancements in Supermec lifts:

  • New drive system ensures improved power and efficiency, greater travel comfort and more effective diagnostic function
  • New control panel with microprocessor for simplified, speedier installation and set-up, features a battery rescue system
  • Enhanced in-cabin multi-vision display presents information in an easily readable format
  • Electronic belt door operator with dedicated driver
  • Custom car sizes to suit any requirement
  • Stylish new LED lighting design for the cabin minimises energy consumption and increases longevity
  • Extended range of floor and wall finishes to ensure unique designs
Launched earlier this year, Supermec 2 lifts won the 2011 designEx Best New Product Award for Building Technologies.

Faster and stronger than the original Supermec model, Supermec 2’s win is recognition of its technical innovation, new product excellence and superior product quality.

Designed to provide a quiet, smooth ride, Supermec 2 travels at speeds of up to 0.50m/s (67% faster than most other home lifts) carrying an additional two people (a total of 630kg) and using just 13% of the power of its oily and noisy hydraulic equivalents.

Supermec 2 lifts also meet the new National Occupational Health and Safety Regulations due to take effect on 1 January 2012.

According to Les Katz, Managing Director, Lift Shop, Supermec enables architects, builders and home owners looking for superior residential lift solutions to have the assurance of performance, design and efficiency.

Supermec is available exclusively from Lift Shop, Australia’s award-winning supplier of quality, luxury designer home elevators.
