A unique integrated structural system pioneered by Hickory Group was used to build the Peppers Kings Square Hotel in Perth.

Facing the newly opened Perth Arena, the 4.5 star Peppers Kings Square Hotel offers 120 studio apartments and conference facilities over 17 levels. The project comprising of engineered concrete floors, load bearing columns, pre-attached building facades and 120 fully fitted Sync bathrooms, was completed through the use of an innovative modular delivery model. The structural units were cubed, loaded with plasterboard and transported to site where they were quickly and efficiently assembled.

The use of Sync bathroom pods in the process reduced onsite work and considerably streamlined both the build and manufacture programs since the pods were sub-assembled in the factory alongside the production of structural units.

Key design highlights of the bathroom pods installed at the Peppers Kings Square Hotel include Calcutta stone benchtops; Columbian walnut joinery; Carrara tiling; chrome tapware, double-headed cascade showers; and oversized silver-framed mirrors.
