Winners of The Block 2013, Alisa and Lysandra used Glosswood timber boards in Distressed White on a wall in the bedroom. The boards were installed in a herringbone pattern to create a feature wall.
The designer duo was given a brief to transform the new bedroom into a space that was organic, bold and edgy. Glosswood’s 130mm timber boards not only added textural depth to the inviting interior but also embraced the natural beauty of real timber.
Though getting the herringbone pattern was somewhat tricky due to the measuring and sawing required prior to installation, the designers were able to accomplish their design goals quickly since Glosswood boards came prefinished with no need for painting or sanding.
Alisa and Lysandra are currently working with Glosswood on an exciting new project.
