Vitracore G2 cladding panels from Fairview were installed on the facade of the new Jaguar Land Rover showroom in Southport, Queensland. One of the state’s newest luxury car dealerships built at a cost of $9 million, the three-storeyed Southport showroom features 950 square metres of Fairview’s Vitracore G2 cladding panels in the custom Jaguar Land Rover corporate colours of Sunshine Grey Metallic and Champagne Metallic, ensuring a premium finish. Vitracore G2 was selected as the preferred façade solution due to its fire compliance.

The project was designed by architecture firm Burling Brown and constructed by builder Stokes Wheeler with the cladding panels installed by Damien Popovic of Cladding Creations. The corner block building offers an enviable luxury car showroom floor, customer lounge as well as a vehicle workshop and on-site parking.

Project Manager Jai Johnson explained that the project required customised lengths of Vitracore G2 panels up to 5900mm. In contrast to previous projects using standard composite materials, no oil canning or bending is visible on the cladding panels, proving their rigidity and strength. Additionally, Vitracore G2 panels are also compliant with current BCA requirements.
