Stryum, an Australian-made, non-combustible facade system from Fairview, was specified in a unique and customised finish for the 60,000-seat Perth Stadium development.

Designed by WESTADIUM, a consortium of three architectural teams, HASSELL, Cox Architecture and HKS Sport + Entertainment, the Perth Stadium facade features over 16,000 square metres of Stryum in six different anodised colours including 5 variations of bronze and 1 of red. In all, 200 tonnes of local aluminium cladding were manufactured for the project of which 20% was perforated and 80% was solid. There were also an impressive 15 custom extruded profiles used on the facade.

The high performance cladding profiles from the Stryum range are independently tested by the CSIRO according to AS1530.1 and deemed non-combustible, making it a safe choice for any development.
