The Efaflex SST high speed door from DMF International was installed at the entrance to a carpark at an exclusive high rise apartment block in Canberra.

Acton Developments, which owns the high rise apartments overlooking Lake Burleigh Griffin, sought a solution for their main carpark. The carpark entrance had a slow action sectional door that was not designed to perform the required 300 cycles per day, resulting in frequent breakdowns.

DMF worked with their ACT agent to provide the Efaflex SST high speed door with a ventilation panel. DMF’s door was designed to open in a few seconds, and built to withstand the high frequency of use. Following the installation, Acton Developments has been able to minimise the maintenance requirement.

Key features of the Efaflex SST high speed door include pressed aluminium section ventilation panel allowing airflow into the carpark to assist with exhaust retraction without compromising security; a full light curtain safety system; and door activation using the existing remote control units.

The Efaflex SST high speed door was custom manufactured in Germany to the required specifications, and installed and commissioned to the satisfaction of the client.
